11 Weeks to a More Organized Life & Home: Week 6 in Review

This past week has been a little crazier than usual. Getting the house and food ready for Thanksgiving meant that I accomplished a lot, but I didn’t do as well as I had hoped with regards to my goals. A picture of my checklist will show you just how I did.

Exercising got put on the back burner, but I was still up and active (i.e., cleaning the house, cooking, wrangling the kids.). Does that count? :)

Also, it took me until Thursday to have all three bathrooms “company ready”.

I told you last week that I wanted to have all of my bathrooms “company ready” and not just my main bathroom. I did some serious cleaning of all three bathrooms and I am trying to keep them all maintained each day so that if anyone stops by I won’t be embarrassed to have them use any of our bathrooms.

To me, a “company ready” bathroom is one in which there is plenty of toilet paper and soap. Also, everything is clean and there is a fresh hand towel available.

The way I accomplish this is to use the previous day’s hand towel to wipe down the bathroom counter and toilet and then throw that towel in the wash.

Like I said last week, I have been good at keeping our main bathroom clean, but not the other two. However, I think I am now on track to keep the other two bathrooms “company ready” as well.

Check back tomorrow afternoon when I will share my week 7 goal. I can’t believe how quickly the time has been going. I am so happy with my progress, despite my failings this week. Are you following along? I would love to hear from you.
