11 Weeks to a More Organized Life & Home: Week 5 in Review

This week I worked on trying to better manage my computer time. My goal was to limit myself to 2 hours total each day.

I know I was on the computer less than normal, but I don’t think I did a very good job at actually “managing” my time. There were blog posts I wanted to write but didn’t because I didn’t want to be online too much.

It was hard to keep track of the actual time I was online. I wasn’t always good at keeping a log.

So, while I met my goal I think I want to add a new dimension to it this coming week. I think a better goal might be to set a timer each time I sit down to do computer work.

Maybe I should have a goal of only being on the computer for 15 minutes at a time. Then, to get more computer time, I will need to do household chores for the same amount of time. I think that is what I will try to do this next week.

I did meet my goal of drinking 2 cups of water each day. That was still pretty easy to do. From here on out I think it will be a little more challenging.

As fares my other goals are concerned, here’s a recap of how I have been doing. There were a few nights that I didn’t get 8 hours of sleep, but most of the time I have met that goal. I haven’t missed a day of Bible reading in 5 weeks and that feels good. Two times in the past 4 weeks I haven’t been dressed nicely, but I still consider that goal a success over all. With my 10 minutes of exercise the past 3 weeks, and by cleaning up some clutter, I have lost 5 pounds. Only 5 more to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight.

Overall, I am happy with my progress during the past 5 weeks. Tomorrow I will share my goal for this next week. It will be home related which means it will involve cleaning. Not fun, but necessary.

Did you try to limit your computer time this week, too? Do you have any helpful hints
