Homemade Yogurt & Weekly Menu Plan

Last week I didn’t plan our menu because I was so sick at the beginning of the week. I felt pretty lost without one. This week I am glad to have a menu plan again.

Before I share our menu for the week I wanted to talk to you about homemade yogurt. I have made yogurt a few times using a canning jar and a heating pad. This worked fine, but was a little bit fussy and only made 1 quart. I found that we were needing more yogurt than that in a week, so I decided to try to famous crockpot yogurt recipe from Crockpot 365.

I am here to tell you this is an easy recipe to follow and I have gotten great results each time.  If you are interested in saving money and making yogurt yourself then I highly recommend checking out the recipe.

Sunday - Leftovers

Monday - Beefy Mac & Cheese, Cooked Broccoli, Applesauce

Tuesday - Chicken Breasts, Rice, Okra, Fruit Smoothies

Wednesday - Fish Fillets, Baked Potatoes, Green Beans, Fruit Smoothies

Thursday - We will be eating out this evening because my daughter is in a math competition.

Friday - Tacos/Taco Salad, Refried Beans, Carrots & Celery

Saturday - Homemade Pizza, Italian Tossed Salad, Fruit Smoothies
