Today I had my big ultrasound. I was so excited to see the baby on the ultrasound screen. There really didn’t seem to be any doubt about whether this baby is a boy or girl. We are having a girl! My daughter jumped up and down when she found out. 
While I am thrilled to be carrying a baby girl, I was even happier to hear the doctor say that everything looked great with the baby. She is right on track and everything is formed just the way it should be. I saw 10 fingers and 10 toes wiggling around. The baby even seemed to be waving to us at one point. She was really moving around today and even opened her mouth for us. I just loved looking at her.
When I wrote my first pregnancy update I mentioned that I had heard God tell me I was going to have a baby girl and that we were to name her Janna Caroline. I knew that God had made this promise so it wasn’t surprising when the doctor said the baby was a girl. I am thankful for this blessing and look forward to meeting little Janna in April.
