Pants for My Boys

Saturday I whipped up three pairs of pants for my boys for Christmas. Last year I made them pants from the same fabric, and had enough left over to make them all another pair in a bigger size. To make the pants I used a pair of pants they wear now and cut some extra to allow for the seam allowance. Then, I made fleece waistbands instead of elastic casings. Quick, easy and oh, so comfy.

    Those are so cute!
    There is not a fabric store near by where I live(well there are quilting stores but I will not pay THAT price for fabric) so I have been re purposing what I can to sew things. I want to look for some inexpensive fleece blankets to make jammie pants out of.

    I love your sewing projects. I am new to sewing and recently tried to make pajamas for my daughter. My first set, and my first time making anything but skirts or simple dresses. The shirt actually turned out fine, the pants were a disaster {grin}. Guess I still have some learning to do :) . Anyway, your projects are inspiring - thanks for sharing!
