It’s week 10 of my quest for organization and so far I have been reading from the Bible, trying to get 8 hours of sleep, dressing for success, exercising and drinking more water, keeping my bathrooms “company ready”, establishing a laundry routine, trying to keep my kitchen clean, menu planning, and making my bed.
This week I am going to make a decluttering goal. I plan to spend at least 10 minutes each day picking up anything that isn’t where it should be.
If I have more time to devote to larger areas of clutter, such as my bookshelf below, that will be great.
However, I am mostly talking about making sure that no one will trip over toys when walking through the house. 🙂
Big decluttering projects can seem overwhelming. That is why I think 10 minutes is a good time to begin with.
Basically, I plan to set a timer for 10 minutes and do a quick run through of the house to get rid of as much clutter as I can in that amount of time.
In addition to my decluttering goal, I plan to drink seven cups of water each day as I work towards my goal of drinking eight cups of water per day.
If you would like to join with me you are welcome to print my weekly checklist by either clicking the picture or link below.
