The row of corn on the right of this photo was all laying down on Thursday evening. A thunderstorm rolled through earlier that afternoon complete with about 10 minutes of hail. This picture was taken yesterday after the corn was starting to stand up straight again which is why I entitled this post the way I did.
Also, this photo shows the contrast of where I put down newspaper and straw in our garden and where I didn’t. I am going to plant the middle of this weed patch with one more row of corn after my husband tills it. Then we will get to put down the straw.
The garden is definitely growing. Our zucchini plants are blooming which means we should start getting some produce from our garden in the next couple of weeks.
Finally, our potato patch is appears to be growing also.
How is your garden growing this week?
