Sunday School Crafts: Tower of Babel

It’s been a couple of weeks since I last posted a Sunday school craft. Even though I haven’t been posting, we have still been going through each story in The Jesus Storybook Bible. The Tower of Babel was the next story we read and here is the craft I came up with to the help the children remember what they learned.

We made our own towers using brown construction paper strips.

To make the strips we fan folded a piece of brown construction paper. Then the children cut along the fold lines. I cut the strips into varying sizes and then asked the children to put them in order from biggest to smallest.

Next, they glued the strips to another piece of paper and then colored a sky to show how high the tower was. Finally, I wrote “The Tower of Babel” and “Genesis 11” on the paper to help the children and their parents remember what story we learned about.
