Have you ever had some special mementoes that were just stuffed in a box but wished you could do something with them?
A shadow box just might be the answer. I have made several over the years to display some special items. Each of my kids have one with items from when they were born, and my husband and I have one to display some special wedding mementoes.
This shadow box was made the same way and includes wedding mementoes like our program (my mom drew the picture), the newspaper announcement, my garter, our invitation, 2 pictures of us, a picture of our wedding party, an ornament my mom made as favors, my husband’s boutonniere, and on of the flowers my grandma made that held birdseed.
I get all of my shadow boxes from Hobby Lobby when they have them for 50% off. (Note to self: Buy one for Jannna.)
