- 2-3 Roma Tomatoes
- 1 Green Pepper
- 1 Small Onion
- Remove the stems from the tomatoes and either dice or place into a food processor.
- Remove the stem and seeds from the green pepper and either dice or place into a food processor.
- Remove the outer layer from the onion and either dice or place into a food processor.
- If using a food processor, pulse the tomatoes, green pepper, and onion until they are the desired consistency.
- Chill or eat immediately.
I prefer to use Roma tomatoes because they are less juicy than other tomatoes and are great for making salsa. However, if you don't have any you can use a different type. One large slicing tomato would be probably the equivalent of the Roma tomatoes in this recipe.
I used a very small white onion for this recipe. If you don't have a really small onion just use ⅓ to ½ of an onion. While I used a white onion you can use any type of onion you prefer.
You can even add a little cilantro or a little jalapeƱo pepper to give this salsa a little kick.
