This week my goal was to get 8 hours of sleep per night. Two out of the seven nights this week I was up late painting two bedrooms. However, I still got about 7 hours of sleep. The rest of the nights I was in bed for at least 8 hours; however, I didn’t get uninterrupted sleep due to a teething and stuffy toddler.
Regardless, I still feel like I made good progress towards making getting enough sleep into a habit.
I did try to evaluate my attitude when I didn’t get enough sleep and I found I was a little snippier/grouchier on the mornings I didn’t get enough sleep.
That is definitely not a good thing, so I am going to keep trying to get at least 8 hours of sleep so that I can be the best mom and wife I can be. There is no way I am going to get my life and home organized if I am not at my best.
