This week was an awesome week for several reasons. Most importantly, God answered a prayer in a big way.
You see, my husband took a new job in June which was a huge blessing in so many ways. However, he was also told he would have to take several graduate classes to be able to add to his license.
Well, God took care of us this week. My husband found out that he doesn’t have to take any classes which means we won’t be out a bunch of money, plus he won’t have the headache of having to go back to school. Not only that, but he got his license taken care of for the next several years as well.
What an awesome God we serve to look out for us in this way. Our blessings are truly overflowing.
We also have been able to spend the last two days together making some wonderful memories. The highlight of the weekend was going to a children’s hands-on science museum yesterday. The kids all had a great time, and we big kids had fun, too.
There were so many things to do there, but I would say that the top three activities my children enjoyed were, in no particular order, the bubble room, the water tables, and the pin board things that you push on and your handprint shows on the other side. See the bottom left picture if you are confused by that last one.
Yes, it was a fun time for all and I think the kids learned some cool facts while they were having fun. Bonus!
I want to leave you with a picture I took on Sunday afternoon. There were some very ominous clouds in the sky and yet the sun was still shining.
Stranger still, there was a rainbow, with no rain, while the clouds were swirling wildly. We didn’t know if we were going to have a thunderstorm or even if there was going to be a tornado. Yet, the clouds eventually blew right on by.
This picture is so amazing to me not only for taking it at face value, but also for the fact that it proves that God keeps His promises and is with us even in the most uncertain of times. And, that the clouds and storms of this life will just breeze right on by us if we trust in the Lord.
I hope you had a great week, too.
