This past week has been very busy as we celebrated the 4th of July and my Dad’s birthday in the middle of the week, and we worked on finishing 4-H projects during the rest of the week all while trying to keep cool during an extreme heat wave.
While we are still in a drought, we did get a little rain this evening which will hopefully settle some of the dust.
Here’s a peek at our week, in pictures.
Sunday
My Sunday school class made these cute handprint bald eagles last Sunday. Check them out here.
Monday
I didn’t take a single picture on Monday. Oops!
Tuesday
On Tuesday I took some pictures of our garden.
Wednesday
Julia, James, and Joshua really got into singing “Happy Birthday” to my dad. They may have edited it slightly from the original version. I remember something about a zoo and a monkey.
Thursday
While I don’t want Janna to think this is the best method of unloading a dishwasher, I had to snap a picture before I got her out of there. She really gets into her work, I guess.
Friday
Just so you know that my children aren’t all sitting around holding hands all day, I am including this picture of a pillow fight that broke out on Thursday morning. Just keeping it real here.
Saturday
I am not sure exactly what Joseph was thinking about when he laid down on the floor and played with one of Janna’s ponytail holders. He is such a cutie if I do say so myself.
Sunday
Thankfully, Janna didn’t get any grease on her dress while she was working on this bucket of cars at church this morning.
Well, that’s a glimpse at my week. How was your week?
