Homemade Vanilla Gift Set

Do you remember my homemade vanilla experiment?  (I wrote about it here and here.)  I have been using it and love it.  I have also given some to my mom and sister-in-law.

Now, it is time to give some as Christmas gifts as well.  I made up a couple of gift sets today and I wanted to share what I put in them.

I used boxes that were going to be thrown away. They held computer parts and are a nice, small size.  I tied a velvet ribbon around each box and then used a straight pin to attach a homemade dish scratcher to the top to serve as a functional “bow”.

Inside the boxes I put a crocheted washcloth and a bottle of homemade vanilla.  All of the items, with the exception of the box, were homemade.  I love making Christmas gifts!
