Well, another week has come to a close, and I am hopefully closer to meeting my goal of having a more organized life and home.
Last Sunday, I told you about my problem of going to bed with a sink full of dirty dishes, and that I hoped to remedy that starting this past week.
With the exception of the past two nights when Janna was fussier than usual and needing more TLC, I have gone to bed with a sink that looks like this.
That also means that I have woken up to a sink that is not full of dirty dishes, but is totally clean. It is so nice to not have to clean the kitchen when I wake up.
It is about 9:30 p.m. right now and my sink is clean and there are no dirty dishes anywhere in my kitchen. Yay!
One thing I have found, even though I said I wasn’t going to try to keep my sink clean at all times, is that you kind of have to keep your sink clean mostly clean throughout the day if you want to accomplish this goal.
Who wants to spend an hour before bed just trying to clean their kitchen to accomplish a goal of not going to bed with dirty dishes in the sink? I sure don’t. What this means is that I have had to been more disciplined each day and keep on top of the dishes.
As far as my goal of drinking four 8 oz. glasses of water each day, I accomplished that by measuring out the water first thing in the morning. I also tried to drink all of the water by the time I was finished with lunch. I think that should make it easier to be able to drink four more cups by the end of the year.
Did you try to meet either of these goals this week? How did you do?
Check back tomorrow when I will let you know what my week 8 goal will be. Also, have you entered for a chance to win a prize pack from Green Giant? The giveaway ends tomorrow night.
