For the past couple of years I have had to learn a new way of cooking in order to be able to feed my 6 year old son Joshua. He has allergies to wheat, dairy, egg whites and soy.
I had started a blog to post any new recipes I created, but it has just been too hard to keep up three blogs. So, I will be importing those recipes here in the near future.
Anyway, my son really likes the lemon garlic chicken recipe I posted about a few weeks ago. I thought it might be nice to try to something else to dress up plain old chicken breasts that would still be safe for him.
To please my honey mustard sauce loving daughter I thought I would come up with an allergy-free version. It tastes good even though it isn’t an exact match. It’s pretty close according to Julia.
I tried baking some chicken breasts with the sauce already on it, but James turned his nose up at it. Plus, it really didn’t taste to honey mustardy. (Is “mustardy” a word?)
If you are inclined to try this sauce, here is the recipe. Also, I think the print function should be working now.
